About eMax

eMax is a culmination of an eCommerce Hotel Internet Marketing concept that was developed under the tutelage of a national recognized and prominent management company, Vista Host, and Resource Technology Management. In September of 2006, eMax was brought into the mix of Resource Technology Management as a new division of the company. Our hospitality team is ready to manage your hotel's presence on the Internet from many aspects. We recognize the importance of partnering with your hotel to ensure that a consistent message is being presented to your guests across all Internet distribution channels. In short, we are your eCommerce partner.

We serve all facets of the hotel industry from franchised and independent hotels to small select service and full-scale resorts. We help hotels expand their presence on the Internet from the grass-roots local level to its overall image while ensuring compliance with all franchise guidelines.

Stephen M. Farina
Vice President
Steve Farina joined Resource Technology in September of 2006 by bringing eMax into the mix of the company. He is responsible for the daily operations of the eMax division as well as business development. During the formation of eMax, Farina worked for Vista Host, a prominent hotel management company based in Houston, TX, as the Director of eCommerce. His hospitality career began with Sonesta Hotels while studying at the University of New Orleans from which a Bachelor of Science degree in Hospitality, Restaurant, and Tourism Administration is held. Steve has also worked as a Director in a hospitality technology firm that specialized in consulting with hotel management companies.

R. Terry Mueller
Chairman - CEO, Principal & Partner
As CEO of the company, Terry has been instrumental in developing the company's core philosophy of value added services that are both affordable and comprehensive. Since the founding of the company in 1993, Mr. Mueller's focus has been on out-sourcing services that lower the hospitality client's expenses or generate top line revenue. Today those services include eMax Internet Marketing, high speed help desk support, and telecommunications management. With his partners, a team of highly qualified and dedicated associates fulfill the mandate of comprehensive services at affordable fees every day.

Previous to the founding of Resource Technology, Terry was responsible for client relationships with United Telephone (now Embarq), Centel Business Systems, and Vista United Telecommunications in a wide variety of roles. Mr. Mueller is a graduate of Rollins College in Winter Park, Florida.

Steven T. Powell
Steve Powell is responsible for Resource Technology's long-term growth, client retention and strategic marketing focus. A founding Principal, and current President, his experience prior to the company forming in 1993, includes 14 years of client services. During this time he earned several top-honor achievements for telecom marketing as a Major Account Manager where he developed his interests in hospitality. Since forming Resource Technology, Powell has diversified the telecom consulting firm by encompassing high-speed Internet services and eMax into the company. Steve holds a BS degree in Marketing from the University of Central Florida. Powell offices at the company's headquarters in Winter Park, Florida.

Donald R. Shouldice
As a partner in Resource Technology, Don directs the daily operations, negotiates contracts and coordinates the business financial functions. Prior to joining Resource Technology and working with the eMax division, Shouldice spent 20 years in the hospitality business with Howard Johnson Company, Prime Motor Inns and Servico Hotels and Resorts. His experience included holding varied positions such as Food and Beverage Manager, General Manager and VP Operations. Don holds a BS degree in Hotel Management from Rochester Institute of Technology. When Shouldice is not on site at one of our client's offices, he is at the Winter Park, Florida headquarters.

Phil Simmons
Phil Simmons joined eMax in May 2008 as eCommerce Operations Manager. With over 12 years immersed in web development and multi-channel Internet marketing, Phil's broad experience in Internet is put to use in managing our portfolio of client brand and private websites. Phil holds a BA degree from Rollins College where he graduated Summa Cum Laude and is currently enrolled in the Professional Masters of Business Administration program at the University of Central Florida.
